As a photographer and producer, Rachel Newlander has made a career of telling stories about people. With television and print credits including The Discovery Networks, The History Channel, ABC Sports, ABC's Good Morning America, and The Washington Post, Rachel combines depth of experience and formal training with natural talent and raw vision.

Rachel's portfolio includes political and public figures, entertainment personalities, media moguls, and images from private engagements.

The daughter of Los Angeles portrait photographer Ronna Schary, Rachel has had the opportunity to learn from the best.  She has been exposed to professional colleagues with national and international reputations and has learned by example that skill must be combined with passion to create evocative imagery.

Current documentary projects, which address sports, historical perspectives and rock music, tap Rachel's diverse media disciplines.

Rachel brings her documentary eye to her most recent venture - Wedding Photography.   By nature, weddings are full of emotion, anticipation and sentiment. It was a natural direction for Rachel, and she is honored to be able to share herself and her vision in this way.
